There is that saying that “If you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day, but if you teach a man how to fish, then will eat for a lifetime.” or something to that effect. This saying is maybe true, but you do not only need to teach a man how to fish, you also need to teach him about the basic equipments for fishing for him to fully enjoy and fish that right way, making his fishing escapades more successful and enjoyable.

Fishing Rod
It is also known as a fishing pole. It is a tool used in fishing, it is where the string line is attached and is used to aid during the catch by adding convenience in the reeling of the fish.

Fishing Reel
A fishing reel is a device that allows the fisherman to control the line. It is attached to the fishing rod, allowing the fisherman to reel in the fish at the same time pulling the line with the rod.

Fishing Bait
Baits are what the fishermen use in lulling the fish to the hook. There are different kinds of baits for different kinds of fish. There are live baits and plastic baits designed to mimic common fish preys like prawns or smaller fishes.

Fishing Line
A fishing line is the string that is usually made of nylon, which connects the and binds all other parts of a fishing equipment. With the hook and bait at its end and the reel and rod at its other end, not many fish can escape from a seasoned fisherman.

Fishing Hook
For the fishing equipment to be complete there must be a hook attached or tied to the end of the line. Hooks are what actually keeps the fish from getting away. Hooks come in all sizes for different fishes of different sizes. Some hooks come with plastic bait already attached.
