Airsoft or Paintball is another hobby that will require you to spend money and not to mention the high risk involved if you get too reckless. Once you have decided that this game is for you, first you need to have the all the require gears that most airsoft clubs specify before you can start enjoying the game with them.

Without these, it will be just like playing tag or hide and sick. You need to find a good airsoft or paintball gun, and it would be practical to buy directly the airsoft / paintball gun that is made of metal than buying a plastic one, which made easily break especially during the course of an extensive game.

Safety Equipments

• -Goggles / Helmet / Face mask

Most organizations / clubs will require goggles or a face mask since these kinds of sports entail a high potential danger for the unprotected eyes. The safety equipments provide protection at the head area.

• -Vest

Most vests are just mimics of real bullet / knife proof vest that real soldiers or policemen wear. The vests for these sport can be made from any type of material hard enough to absorbed most of the impact of a BB or paintball ammo.

• -Boots

Unlike the vest, one can easily find combat boots with the same quality with the issues given to soldiers since boots are relatively cheaper than real bullet proof vests. Boots are ideal due to the full protection it gives to the feet during the course of the game that requires a lot of moving around.

Ammo

BB is the term used for the ammo of airsoft guns. It is mostly made of ceramic material and synthetic plastic. It is manufactured in different weights, but has a standard size. The weights vary from 1.4mg, 2.0mg, 2.5mg and 3.0mg. The different weights are intended to suit different types of airsoft guns with different levels of power. The higher the power the more appropriate it is to use a heavier BB to maximized accuracy.

• -gun cartridge

These cartridges are actually containers for compressed C02. Some airsoft guns do not use a battery powered mechanism in its gear box, but instead use compressed air to propel the ammo. Most paintball guns utilize this.
